Karen has this love-hate relationship with Halloween.  All her work pays-off in these little minions.  My favorite feature: Maggie's antannae!

In Honor of Today...it's 12:01 AM--a Day of Reckoning for the Utes!

So my plans for the day:
--No turf paint this year.  Instead of a 5-foot BYU logo on my Ute neighbor's lawn, it'll be a BYU flag tied up to the second story pillars above his door.  This will start at 4 AM when everyone is deep asleep.
--Afterward, I will do whatever Karen tells me until 8 PM CST
--8 PM, go to my Ute neighbors house to reclaim my flag, wrap it around me as I watch the Cougars destroy the Utes in better fashion than most are predicting.

Savannah's 9th Birthday

 So we got Savannah a scooter.  She wanted one and all the other kids had one.  That's a dangerous road to go down, we know, but we tell her no enough that this was an easy yes so she could be more like her friends on the street.

 Savannah wanted cheesecake for her birthday.  She is more and more like her Mom everyday.

I took her and  a friend horseback riding for her birthday activity.  She loved it.  It was a lot of fun for all of us.  And no large uncovered ladies in the window this time! (Ask Karen about that one.)

Committed...

Okay, okay, so it's been over 6 months since we've updated our blog and even the content is now over a year old.  We are committed to updating it and keeping it more current (I'm sure I've said that before).  Keep your eyes peeled for an update...any day now...really, for sure...an update.

First Day of School 2010

Ezra Learns to Smile

 Maya loves Ezra a ton.  She's always around him, kissing, pinching cheeks, and calling him some wierd term of endearment like, "chubber-bubbers" and "chubby-choo-choo-cha-cha."  Karen and I, being the less likely types to spew sentimentality, tolerate it.

 I like this one--and not just because I am in it.

Maggie's Third Birthday

 Maggie wanted a Dora theme.  How do you like our depiction?  Savannah helped out and had a lot of fun with it too.  As a matter of fact, this year she will be helping us with other holidays too, if you know what I mean.  This is about the time she asked about it, I believe.

Maggie invited her friend, Olivia.  They had preschool together.

Shed Update

Ah, the shed.  Last I wrote about it, I had hung the doors.  Was really proud of it then; it was sort of complete.  Here, I've painted it.  Not too exciting, but our HOA indicates the necessity to paint it the same as the house.  In case your are wondering what color that is, it's Oyster.

 Ezra at 2 months

This was a lot of fun.  I put Maggie on a boogieboard and would send her off on the waves as they came by.  She rode them well and pretty far.  Each time I had to run after her to make sure she wouldn't go under water when the wave let up.
