Every month or so we'll post a few pictures and describe some of the events in our lives.

Waiting for Six Flags to Open
We planned a trip to Six Flags, but forgot to check one thing---when it opened. So we hung out near Arlington Field--the Rangers Baseball Park.
Happy Maya
Maya's Asthma Attack
I absolutely hate the ER. Texans think their health care is good, because the specialist care in houston is worldclass. The fact is, the regular hospital care is awful. I waited with Maya for four hours in the ER waiting room before they saw us--this was at 4 or 5 AM--the slowest time for the ER, yet they still didn't get us in forever. We were at the hospital another 2 or 3 hours--you lose track when you wait that long.
Maya came home with breathing treatments and all that goodstuff. This is a picture of her falling asleep during one of them.
Holiday Dance Recital 2008
Poor Maya. We thought she was just tired because she woke up from a nap right before we had to go to the recital. Turns out later, she was sick.
SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!
Like Father, Like...Daughter
Moldy door frame; before and after
As you may know, living in Houston means humidity and rain and the mold that comes with it. Our back door is not protected from the rain, so here's what happens after a few years--MOLD.

Another Trip to Moab
I took a trip to Moab with work. It was really good. We learned about faults and salt. I'm smart now.
Here are some Jurassic-aged critter "footprints"--thought it was cool.
