Taylor's Talents

I don't know what to say...I guess we each have our own gifts.

Easter 2009

We had my sister, Angie over with her three kids: Tanner, Taylor, and Hayley. They all got webkins for Easter (not including all the chocolate you can eat).

Easter baskets.

Maya with "Hippy", her hippo webkin.

Tanner looks happy.

Savannah is in her element--she absolutely loves parties, presents and any holiday where she gets stuff.

Hayley ready to rip open the chocolate bunny.

Taylor.

Maggie's already eating chocolate.

No one's been hurt yet!

Angie, Tanner, Taylor, Hayley, and Angie came to visit us.

Brazos Bend with Angie

Okay, so these are a little out of order, but here's what happened last. They were out fast after a day in the hot sun running away from aligators. You can see Karen right behind me in the Xterra.

Hayley chillin' after seeing baby aligators in the visitor's center.

Maya and I got left behind because we stopped to look at the cardinal, but we made the most of it.

Here's the cardinal--these birds are cool.

Maya is biting the aligator before it bites her.

Taylor, Savannah, and Tanner in front of a gator.

Turtles.

This gator didn't like me, but I was bugging it, so can you blame him.

More Cousins at Market Street

Here we are again--this time with Angie's kids.

Pictures of Our Family

I was messing around with the camera Karen got me for Christmas.... The lighting was really good, so I took these photos and put them together. It's an interesting way to compare the each of my girls.

This was a really good day. I ordered some new football cleats from Footlocker 2 months before Christmas and they were supposed to show up for Christmas last year. I was EXTREMELY excited for these. I love the 14-cleats and the lightweight of this shoe--they are really nice cleats. Anyway, they were put on back order...until February!! I was really disappointed, but thought, "What more perfect Valentine's Day gift?!" Guess what? They didn't even show up then, either. It took two more backorders before I got them--I was really close to giving up on my dreams, when they finally came.
Football means a lot to me. It's the only exercise I get!

Karen and Dave.

Savannah working on her spelling words.

I think this picture is funny. Karen is explaining to Maggie not to whole-fist pinch people's faces, but it more looks like she's a crazy lady.

Karen throwing mags up in the air.

Maya writing her spelling words.

Savannah is in timeout. You shouldn't turn you back in timeout.

Zoo trip with Karen's Preschool.

Maggie and the giraffe.

Karen's preschool kids. She loved teaching Maya and her friends. She team-taught with another lady in the ward, which really helped her stress level out (not having to teach every week). If you ask me though, I didn't like Karen teaching preschool because it meant I barely got any time on my computer for email and...well, blogging. Yep, there it is--if we don't blog much blame Karen. It's all her fault!

Another Trip to Brazos Bend State Park

You cannot get tired of this place--it's full of alligators! We go at least once a year.

Another sign reads, "Do not play fetch with your dogs in the water."

Tick, tock, tick, tock...

Maggie sees an alligator. Karen's friend, Lisa, in background.

This was great. For 5 minutes Maggie thought this was real. She started petting it, then, when it wouldn't interact with her, she started hitting it and pushing it so it would "wake up". Karen couldn't explain that it was dead since she wouldn't understand, so she just told her that, "it's broken."

All the kids, including one of Karen's Young Women who came along.
