Dave surprised me by taking me horseback riding. They made us wear these funny bike hats. I had a lot of fun and accidentally offended our guide by asking which high school he was attending (he had already graduated). Here in Texas they make up for the lack of scenery by hanging old stuffed animals in the trees. I enjoyed it, but this is one time I truly missed the mountains.

Isn't your birthday in December? Where's all the snow? I think that would drive me crazy! Cool idea though! What made him think of that one?
Who thought of hanging stuffed animals in trees as added scenery? That is just bizarre.
